U-M program encourages high school innovators

High school students in Grand Rapids are set to join a growing community of the state’s youngest entrepreneurs, thanks to an organization of like-minded innovators at U-M.

Two years ago, members of MPowered — one of U-M’s main entrepreneurship-focused student organizations — went into classrooms at Ann Arbor’s Pioneer High School to pilot a program of small entrepreneurship workshops. Now in its third cycle, Startup High School will launch operations on the state’s west side.
