Eden V. Wells, clinical associate professor at the U-M School of Public Health, was named chief medical executive of the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services effective May 1, 2015.
Wells will serve Michigan citizens by providing professional medical leadership, expertise and coordination in addressing public health issues, workforce issues and health policy development.
