U-M plans new, 320,000-square-foot health center in Brighton

The University of Michigan Health System plans to build a new 320,000-square-foot health center to provide expanded primary and specialty care in the Brighton area.

The $175 million project will be built in Brighton south of Challis Road, on 32 acres owned by the University of Michigan Health System.

The new facility is expected to have multiple exam and operating rooms, a pharmacy and specialty services in both pediatric and adult health care, musculoskeletal health, ophthalmology, radiology and diagnostic imaging and pathology and comprehensive cancer services including radiation oncology.
