U-M child health experts offer training in Marshall, Traverse City

From sports medicine to heart-related birth defects, doctors from U-M’s C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital offer some of the state’s most advanced care and in-depth research for children from birth to the teen years. Recently, they brought this expertise to two Michigan locations, and partnered with local physicians to offer two pediatric care conferences in Marshall and Traverse City.

The all-day events drew more than 150 health professionals from a broad region. Each conference provided a chance to gain knowledge from U-M and local experts, and to enhance respect among health care colleagues practicing in a wide variety of settings. For many attending, they also provided opportunities to earn continuing education credits that they need to keep up their medical or nursing licenses.
