With more than 20 projects already underway, Michigan Center for Integrative Research in Critical Care teams are developing new innovations and leveraging existing research projects to assist with caring for those impacted by the pandemic by developing COVID-specific diagnostic, protective and therapeutic solutions. Research projects from the MCIRCC team focus on finding improved ways to protect health care workers, diagnosing and stratifying patients, managing care and understanding the underlying biology of the virus.
