Patients from all over the state of Michigan benefit from world-class health care at the U-M Comprehensive Cancer Center, including Aron Bowser, a Kent County detective who lives in Belmont.
Thanks to collaboration with his Grand Rapids-area pulmonologist and a team of U-M experts, Bowser not only beat cancer, but received a life-saving lung transplant ending his struggle with pulmonary fibrosis.
Even better, his brother Cory underwent similar treatment for his cancer and pulmonary fibrosis, giving them both a second chance at life.
