Finding balance: Health care CEO juggles work, family, and school

Alexandria Lueth is the CEO of CentraCare, a non-profit health care organization based in Battle Creek and Kalamazoo that provides comprehensive care for the frail elderly population of West Michigan in order to allow them to remain safely in their home for as long as possible.

Lueth had wanted to get her master’s degree for a while, but when she took on the CEO role, she knew she needed to take the next step in her education to strengthen her understanding of all aspects of the health care industry.

The University of Michigan’s Executive Master’s Program in Health Management and Policy was a perfect fit. The program in the School of Public Health allows students to continue working full-time while pursuing a Master of Health Services Administration degree.
