Alumni fund aquatic research for 2015

Alumni of Michigan’s Community and Lakes Environmental Awareness and Research Project recently made a gift to the U-M Biological Station in Cheboygan County to support students who are engaging local communities with their aquatic research.

CLEAR’s mission is to enhance water quality in Northern Michigan not only by measuring and monitoring, but by sharing results with property owners and others who have a vested interest in water quality. CLEAR’s efforts evolved into the present-day nonprofit organization Tip of the Mitt Watershed Council.
