U-M School of Public Health working to address public health concerns related to Flint water

The U-M School of Public Health is working with community groups and agencies in Flint, state and local officials and UM-Flint, to address the water crisis through partnership-based interventions.

Faculty members in the School of Public Health are working on research and are members of committee, task forces and other local groups addressing the issues. U-M students, staff, faculty and alumni are participating in community-coordinated volunteer efforts as well.

A website has been developed focused on a range of topics including education and training to partnerships with community organizations, agencies and the state health department.
