U-M Department of Urology now offers pediatric care in Flint

David Bloom, chair of the U-M Department of Urology, began visiting the Hamilton Community Health Network’s Flint Clinic this summer.

Through U-M’s C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital, Bloom will see patients with a wide range of pediatric-specific conditions, including testicular pain, penile abnormalities and hernias.

“The extraordinary work of the Hamilton Community Health Network in Flint has been evident to me for many years,” Bloom said. “Our Department of Urology has been involved in the area from a research perspective with the Flint Men’s Health Study, and the opportunity to extend our involvement with clinical care at Hamilton is a natural step in this growing relationship.”
