16 ways Michigan Sea Grant engages stakeholders

From developing beach safety kits to preparing for the likely impacts of global climate change on the Great Lakes, Michigan Sea Grant works with many different stakeholders to protect and preserve our most precious natural resources.

The Michigan Sea Grant team ensures its work is relevant and useful by conducting needs assessment and constituent surveys and through a variety of outreach efforts. The 16 examples of stakeholder engagement highlight the broad scope of MSG’s programs.

Michigan Sea Grant is a cooperative program of the U-M and Michigan State University. It is part of the National Sea Grant College program, a network of 33 university-based programs in coastal states across the country.
